Dripping Springs Pop Warner Cheer

This year, our cheer program will be led by our new Head Coach Jean Ridgeway, a former NFL cheerleader for the New Orleans Saints.

The DSPW Cheer Program is dedicated to providing cheerleaders with the opportunity to join a team and learn age appropriate skills in a positive, supportive and athletic minded atmosphere. The focus of the program is not only on teaching the athleticism, strength, flexibility and coordination of cheer but on developing the athlete in both personal and social growth.

The practices will be held two to three times per week at the Belterra Rec Center. Not only will the cheerleaders get to cheer for the Pop Warner football players at their Saturday games but they will also have the potential to participate in cheer competitively within the Pop Warner program.

Interested but not sure if you're ready to sign up? Dripping Springs Pop Warner will be hosting a Cheer Camp Sunday, April 22nd from 1:00 – 3:00PM followed by a fun hour of decorating this year’s Founder’s Day float! Participants will have the opportunity to work with Head Coach Jean Ridgeway, along with Jaime Maring who specializes in strength and conditioning. All camp participants will receive a Dripping Springs Pop Warner Cheer tank top, pompoms and the opportunity to ride on the DSPW cheer float at the Founder’s Day Parade! The camp will take place at the Belterra Rec Center for a fee of $40.
