Have You Heard About Tiny-Mite Football?

Teaching our youngest players the love of the game!

Tiny-Mite football is a division created just for 5, 6, & 7 year-olds weighing between 35 - 75 lbs. Featuring modified play and regulations, the focus of this division is SAFETY and TEAMWORK. We aim to build the foundation that will allow our players to enjoy this sport for years to come!

SAFETY

Tiny-Mites will play either 6-on-6 or 8-on-8 tackle football in full pads. The field size is reduced to accommodate these younger players. In holding with policy implemented by Pop Warner, there are no kickoffs or punting at this level. Additionally, Tiny-Mite football does not use a scoreboard. Together these adjustments reduce the speed and intensity of gameplay. Coaches will focus on developing fundamental skills, learning the rules, emphasizing proper technique, and most importantly, safety!

TEAMWORK

In Tiny-Mites, we are not creating individual stars, we’re making team mates! Teamwork is what makes football fun! Our Tiny-Mites will begin learning how to work together from start of the first practice. We encourage social skills development as much as physical development, seeking to provide a positive experience for all of our players. Kids enjoy football because they create friendship and memories that last a lifetime!
